On July 12, the European Trial Championship 2009 took place in Zoetermeer ( Netherlands ) where Dani Comas won the title of champion of Europe. Already, four titles along this season ( Spanish and European Championship in BIU and UCI), and there are still in game two World Championships, and Dani has many options to be awarded.

The competition was well tied , as always throughout the whole season, but at the end, Dani gathered himself, and won his fourth title of the year, leaving in second place again to his rivals.

Kenny Belaey struggled throughout the weekend, as it is normal in this category, and got the third podium position, just only two points from second place.

In Femina, the twins Gemma and Mireia Abant, got the second and third place on the podium respectively.
